With the support of the Turkish Language Association, student of European University of Lefke (EUL) Dr. Fazıl Küçük Faculty of Education Department of Turkish Language Teaching Eren Köseoğlu was accepted to the 8th International Symposium of Young Turcologists organized by Kyrgyz Turk-Manas University.

EUL Student presented a notice titled “Nasrettin Hoca and Turkish Cypriots”

In the meeting which has become a tradition and is held under the auspices of the government of Kyrgyzstan and the Republic of Turkey, EUL student Eren Köseoğlu presented his notice titled “Nasrettin Hoca and Turkish Cypriots” which he prepared under the supervision of the Dean of Dr. Fazıl Küçük Faculty of Education Prof. Dr. Oğuz Karakartal. In his notice, Köseoğlu explained the place of Nasrettin Hoca which is one of the shared values of the Turkish culture from Turkey to Azerbaijan, Kyrgyzstan, Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan and Turkmenistan and introduced the Turkish Cypriot Karagöz artist Mehmet Ertuğ and the Nasrettin Hoca type he added to the Turkish Cypriot Karagöz.

Köseoğlu: The Symposium was important in terms of ensuring the integrity of the Turkish World

Köseoğlu expressed his thoughts on the symposium and said that “The symposium I have participated in is very important for the young academicians to be directed to the research, to realize the companion of the culture of all citizens of the Turkish world states and in terms of ensuring the integrity of the Turkish World”.
