Ercan Akbaba, who ranked 317th in Turkey with a score of 459 according to the 2021 Student Selection and Placement Center (ÖSYM) placement results, preferred the Department of Special Education Teaching at the European University of Lefke (EUL).

EUL Student Akbaba ranks 317th in Turkey as a result of the university entrance exam (YKS) organized by OSYM.

Akbaba stated that as a result of the YKS exam conducted by ÖSYM, he got 459 points as a placement score and ranked 317th in Turkey. While researching universities, Akbaba stated that he wanted to study especially in the Special Education Teaching Department, and EUL Special Education Teaching Department Head Prof. Dr. Ayşegül Ataman, as well as very valuable and well-equipped academicians, stated that she put EUL in the first place in her preferences because of the fact that EUL is in the education staff.
