European University of Lefke (EUL) School of Tourism and Hotel Management organized “Limak Cyprus Deluxe Hotel Career Day”. Manager of Limak Cyprus Deluxe Hotel Mehmet Mülayim, Manager of Customer Services Kerem Sertbaşlı and Emrah Kamalı Deputy Manager of Human Resources attended the event.
Assist. Prof. Dr. İlker Türkeri, Chairperson of the Department of Gastronomy and Culinary Arts, Assist. Prof. Dr. Meltem Erdoğan, Chairperson of the Department of Tourism Management, Academicians and students of Gastronomy and Tourism Management Departments showed intense participation to the event. The opening speech of the event was conducted by Academician of Tourism and Hotel Management School İ. Nazmi Buldanlıoğlu. Limak Cyprus Deluxe Hotel General Manager Mehmet Mülayim made a general statement about the 2019 Summer Internships, and underlined the importance of internships in professional life. On the other hand, Manager of Customer Services Kerem Sertbaşlı informed the students about the facilities with visiual prensentations and gave detailed information about the working principles of the Limax Cyprus Deluxe Hotel.
In the interview part of the event, students filled the application forms and participated in the interviews. The interviews were held on three different tables; Manager of Limak Cyprus Deluxe Hotel Mehmet Mülayim, Manager of Customer Services Kerem Sertbaşlı and Emrah Kamalı Deputy Manager of Human Resources interviewed the students of Gastronomy and Tourism Management Departments and accepted their 2019 Summer Internship applications.
Students whose applications for the internship are accepted by the Hotel Management will work in various departments of the hotel and will do their internship in the Summer Semester of 2019.
