The Architectural Restoration Programme is a two-year associate degree programme that aims to train technical specialists in the conservation, documentation, and restoration of historic buildings in a manner appropriate to their original fabric. The programme provides students with theoretical and practical training in subjects such as building technology, restoration techniques, building materials, survey drawing, art history and conservation legislation. This enables students to acquire the knowledge and skills necessary to play an active role in passing on cultural heritage to future generations. Graduates can find employment in restoration and project offices, municipalities, architectural firms, museums, and construction sites.
