“Cyprus and International Culture Night” organized by the European University of Lefke (EUL) Centre of Social and Cultural Activities was held with the participation of the students in the orientation days organized for the newly registered students in the 2019-2020 Academic Year.

The night offered the opportunity to get to know cultural diversity closely

During the night organized within the scope of the orientation program, students and their families who had recently enrolled in EUL from different countries came together and had the opportunity to get to know cultural diversity closely. In the event, Cypriot Folk Dance show was held by Lefke Municipality Folk Dance Team, and dance and fashion shows of students from Turkey, Pakistan, the Zimbabwe, Ivory Islands and Tunisia took place. The cultural music and folklore show of our cultural values unique to Cyprus attracted great appreciation during the night, and the students had the opportunity to enjoy music and cultural games.

Dishes special to the Cyprus Cuisine gained appreciation         

While the students enjoyed the cultural diversity during the night, the food of the Cypriot cuisine prepared specially for the night was tasted by the students and their families. The photography exhibition, which was opened within the scope of the program and introduced to various countries, was visited by families and students and an important opportunity was provided for students to socialize and to recognize different cultures.
