“Cyprus and International Culture Night” which was organized by European University of Lefke (EUL) Centre of Social and Cultural Activities under the frame work of the orientation days held for newly registered students of 2019-2020 Academic Year Spring Term, took place with intense participation of the students.

The event offered the opportunity to get to know cultural diversity closely.   

During the night organized as part of the orientation program, students who had recently registered at EUL and came from different countries had the opportunity to get to know cultural diversity closely. During the night, the Cyprus Folk Dance show by the Lefke Municipality Folk Dance Team and the fashion shows and dance shows of students from different countries took place. While cultural music and folklore show, one of our cultural values that are unique to Cyprus, were appreciated overnight, students also had the opportunity to have a pleasant time accompanying music and cultural games.

EUL Gastronomy Club students prepared Cypriot dishes for their friends

Students who had a good time during the night also had the opportunity to taste the dishes unique to Cyprus Cuisine prepared by EUL Gastronomy Club. An important opportunity was provided for the students to socialize and get to know different cultures in the night. At the end of the night, the sports competitions took place within the framework of the orientation program and the students who ranked in the karaoke and sports competitions were presented with trophies.
