EUL Academician has been selected as the Head of an Important Project conducted in America
Accreditation Council for Pharmacy Education – (ACPE) has started Certification Quality Development Criteria (CQDC) project in America. Dean of European University of Lefke (EUL) Faculty of Pharmacy Prof. Dr. Rümeysa Demirdamar has been selected as the Head of the Certification Quality Organization and Administration Committee by ACPE-ISP.
The aim of the CQDC Project is to determine the quality criteria of the international pharmacy education
Demirdamar said that “The aim of the CQDC Project is to determine the quality criteria of the international pharmacy education, to offer pharmacy education criteria to the faculties of pharmacy, to assist and support the program development, improvement and updating of faculties” and added that the project, which will be carried out by the accreditation council of the faculties of pharmacy in America and the quality criteria will be taken as the basis, started in March.
Demirdamar also said that “American Council on Pharmaceutical Education (ACPE) which is an institution accrediting pharmacology schools / faculties since 1932 changed its name as Accreditation Council for Pharmacy Education (ACPE) and started to offer international service” and added that the accreditation council of the faculty of pharmacy in America, which started International Service Program in January 2011, has been working as an institution that determines the standards of pharmacy education and quality in education.
Demirdamar is also a member of the International Advisory Board
Demirdamar stated that in 2018, ACPE formed ISPAG (International Advisory Board) in order to conduct ‘s international activities more effectively and added that she is also one of the members of the ISPAG International Advisory Board.
