Cooperation protocol was signed between European University of Lefke (EUL) and Liberal Worker Unions Federation (Hür-İş). EUL Rector Prof. Dr. Mehmet Ali Yükselen and General President of Hür-İş Ali Çaluda signed the protocol.

In his speech that he made at the protocol, EUL Rector Prof. Dr. Mehmet Ali Yükselen pointed out that the activities and collaborations of the universities in the context of the training mission as well as the collective service applications are extremely important and added that the protocol will be beneficial for both sides.

General President of Hür-İş Ali Çaluda emphasized that Hür-İş is a trade union that attaches importance to social and cultural development as well as to the economic activities of its employees and thanked Yükselen with expressing his gratitude.

Signed protocol includes several field of activities such as organization of seminars, presentations and conferences, round table meetings, panels, workshops, internship opportunities for faculty students, invitation of lecturers related to courses in the curriculum of EUL Public Administration Department such as political science, public administration, local administrations, European studies, leadership and management, modern state and democracy, environmental politics, human resources management and governance as guest speakers on the basis of cooperation.
