Students of the European University of Lefke Faculty of Law participated in social awareness project in Chad, Africa.
According to the data of the United Nations, 66% of the people realized a water well project in the African continent Chad, which is the region where there is thirst problem in arid and semi-arid places. Global warming is increasingly affecting the African region, so water wells need to be drilled to meet the water needs of the people in the region. EUL Faculty of Law students have launched the Water Well project in Chad, which is a country with a population of 15 million people and 6 million people cannot reach healthy water according to official data.
