Turkish Radio and Television Corporation (TRT) organized a special training program for the students of the European University of Lefke, Faculty of Communication Sciences
Turkey’s well-established broadcaster TRT organized a special “Communication and Media Education” program for the students of the Faculty of Communication Sciences of the European University of Lefke. 40 students from EUL Faculty of Communication Sciences participated in the “Communication and Media Education” program, which lasted 3 days and took place in 12 sessions. The training program on traditional and digital media, given by the leading names of TRT, took place online.
‘Digital Marketing, ‘Youtube Optimization’, ‘Presentation and Storytelling’, ‘User Journey’, ‘Diplomacy Reporting’, ‘Video Viewer Tendency in Social Media’, ‘Social Media User Journey’ as well as ‘Career in TRT’ The training on traditional and digital media topics such as ‘TRT World Corporate Presentation’ and ‘TRT World Corporate Presentation’ was held in English. At the end of the Communication and Media Education program, students were given a participant certificate.

Regarding the subject, EUL Faculty of Communication Sciences Dean Prof. Dr. Elif Asude Tunca said, “We have been in contact with TRT for a while to realize the training programs they have prepared for the students of our Faculty on the island. The ‘Communication and Media Education’ program, which was created in the light of the subjects in TRT’s training program and in line with the demands of our students, was carried out by TRT’s experienced and experts in their fields.
EUL Communication Sciences Faculty Dean Prof. Dr. Tunca stating that they aim to create a road map for the continuation of the program with the feedback they received from the students regarding the TRT Communication and Media education program, which was held for the first timee, said, “Our students stated that they enjoyed this training program very much. They also offered very good ideas and suggestions for future programs. We want to evaluate all these suggestions and ideas with TRT,” he said.
