First & Emergency Aid

The aim of the program is to train qualified First and Emergency Aid personnel who can provide life-saving and disability-preventing medical interventions during the period from the occurrence of an emergency until definitive treatment is provided, primarily in healthcare institutions as well as in other public and private organizations that require pre-hospital emergency services.

First and Emergency Aid Technicians assist healthcare professionals in various areas including emergency aid and rescue operations, emergency patient care, patient care principles, bleeding control, establishing intravenous access, administration of certain basic medications, fire and fire safety, rescue operations, and the use of medical and rescue equipment.

The medium of instruction is Turkish.
