Rüya Taner Piano Recital Draw Great Interest at EUL

As part of TRNC University recitals, in corporation and contributions of the European University of Lefke “One City One Recital” themed Rüya Taner recital took place at EUL Law Faculty Conference Hall with the sponsorship of Türkiye İş Bankası and with the organization of Music Foundation. Taner performed works of R.Schumann/F.Liszt..Widmung, C.Debussy.. Clair de Lune, F.Chopın..Fantasy Impromptu,  F. Mendelssohn .. Rondo Capriccioso, Çanakkale folk songs, anonymous Kastamonu folk songs.

EUL Rector Prof. Dr. Mehmet Ali Yükselen, many academic and administrative staff, local community and EUL students showed a great interest to the recital.

Pianist Rüya Taner expressed her gratitude to EUL students and enthusiastic crowd and said that she was very glad to perform in front of such an audience. She finished the program with “Karadeniz Batum Ballad”, which is one of her own piano arrangements.

At the end of the recital EUL Rector Prof. Dr. Mehmet Ali Yükselen expressed his sincere thanks to pianist Rüya Taner and presented her a plaguet.
